I am a Certified Senior Advisor, specializing in placement. I know how hard seeking care can be! My own family went through this process with my grandmother, prior to my career in placement. We chose a lovely community that was in a convenient location, but it wasn’t the best long term fit for her finances. Honestly, even if her finances had been stronger, as her health declined, she would have exceeded the level of care the community offered…. Moving my grandmother again was a frustrating and challenging time for my family. This could have been avoided had we been armed with more information. I wish I had known there were people out there offering just that kind of service! It is my mission that my clients are fully educated and empowered throughout this journey. This will help minimize unpleasant surprises down the road. I am honored to be an advocate for seniors, and to make this process as smooth as possible for families.

I will verify current pricing, availability, staffing, and ask about any special services or preferences you are looking for. For my clients who may need to convert to Medicaid; I verify private pay terms, and do my due diligence to determine if Medicaid conversion is a guarantee, or if there are only a certain number of residents allowed at any given time, etc. I check their state surveys to verify they are in good standing with the state, and I share with you any enforcements on their license. My efforts will save you untold time and frustration, as not all care options are created equal, and not all care options can meet your needs. I know that finding the right resources makes a difference! I want my clients to not only receive excellent care, but really thrive, and have the best quality of life possible.
