A local, family-run approach to senior care placement

Mission

We help families across Western Washington find the right senior care setting for their loved one — efficiently, without pressure, and without cost to the family. Our goal is that each family leaves our process feeling informed and at peace with the decision, whatever that decision turns out to be.

Philosophy

Every family's situation is different — medically, financially, and emotionally. We do not believe in scripts or call-center scale. We take the time to understand your specific situation, then we narrow an overwhelming field of options down to the handful that genuinely fit. Tours, paperwork, follow-up questions — we stay with you through the whole process.

We have no financial relationship with any one community that would bias our recommendations. We work with a wide network of providers and always match based on fit, not on incentives.

How we're compensated

Our service is free to families. We are compensated by the senior care community or provider when a placement is successful — a model common to senior placement services nationwide. Our fees vary by the type of service and our agreement with each provider — and in some cases we assist pro bono — but no part of any fee is ever passed on to you, and our recommendations are always based on fit. Our Disclosure Statement spells this out in plain terms.

Tami has been guiding seniors to quality care since 2010. I am a Certified Senior Advisor, specializing in placement. I know how hard seeking care can be! My own family went through this process with my grandmother, prior to my career in placement. We chose a lovely community that was in a convenient location, but it wasn't the best long term fit for her finances. Honestly, even if her finances had been stronger, as her health declined, she would have exceeded the level of care the community offered… Moving my grandmother again was a frustrating and challenging time for my family. This could have been avoided had we been armed with more information. I wish I had known there were people out there offering just that kind of service! It is my mission that my clients are fully educated and empowered throughout this journey. This will help minimize unpleasant surprises down the road. I am honored to be an advocate for seniors, and to make this process as smooth as possible for families.

Where we serve

We work with families and providers in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, Kitsap, Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Skagit, Whatcom counties. If you are outside of these counties, please still reach out — we may still be able to help or refer you to a trusted colleague.
